ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION
The administration division is comprised of the Senior Management and the civilian support staff. This division is responsible for managing all activities of the Police Department.

CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION (CID)
The criminal investigations division is responsible for investigating criminal cases, responding to major crime scenes, criminal interviews, and staffing cases with the prosecutors.

PATROL SERVICES DIVISION
The patrol division is responsible for the 24-hours-a-day tasks of: Preventing criminal activity, Responding to call for service, Conducting preliminary criminal investigations, Apprehending criminals, Enforcing traffic laws, and Investigating vehicle crashes.

COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION
The communications division is responsible for the 24-hours-a-day tasks of: Answering Non-Emergency and 911 Emergency telephone calls, dispatching Officers to calls for service, dispatching Fire and EMS to calls for service, answering and handing intense and sometimes traumatic calls. These dispatchers have an incredibly difficult job and they must be capable of multi-tasking and remaining calm during stressful situations.
